Israel's Deputy Prime Minister said if Iran continues its nuclear weapons program, the Arab nation would be attacked.

"If Iran continues its nuclear weapons programme, we will attack it. Other options are disappearing. The sanctions are not effective. There will be no alternative but to attack Iran in order to stop the Iranian nuclear programme," said Shaul Mofaz.

He also said an Israel operation on Iran could only be realistic with America's support.

It is going to be really hard on the US to always fight everyone else's battles all the time. We are still in a war as of right now. I hope Israel doesn't goto war with anyone right now.
But just my opinion, Obama will be the first president in the US to stop supporting Israel so much. With that said, Obama will beat McCain by a large number to win President.

I guess it's all according to whether or not you accept the translation that Israel, when mentioned in the New Testament, refers to a physical country or rather to the christian church itself... Neither is synonymous or interchangeable..
